Are You Ready?
Typically, every June, The Crowd Crowd is at record all time lows for the year. Crafting seasons have their high and low peaks and June for the past 4 years has always been the lowest month on record. We begin building slightly again in July and faster in August and then begin a whole new season with high spikes in September and ride the crochet wave until next May.
You will have noticed there isn’t much video content leaving our studio at the moment. There’s a few reasons for that. Firstly, I have been busy doing side projects for other companies and secondly, I am beginning to plan what our next season of creativity will be.
For Season 5, we expect to work closer together with Red Heart in working with some of their patterns through video formats. Before you begin emailing me your wish list of patterns for Red Heart, I need a month or two to review their patterns on my own.
Many people each day mail in a wish list for what I need to be filming next. Once the season begins, I know within about a 3 month time frame on what will be filmed and be ready. By October, I am already planning and filming for Christmas to ensure they will be ready on time.
So while my activity is a bit less on Facebook and the videos are slower to come out, rest assured that more content is coming and we are using this slow period to reflect and think about the next season’s video projects.
Hopefully, you will have a happy and safe summer ahead.
Michael
